Carmilla's Portrait

Part of the "Portraits of Castlevania" series.
Carmilla was in Rondo of Blood for the PCEngine.
However, Carmilla's Mask was originally found in Simon's Quest.
Her mask also cameos in Harmony of Dissonance.

Carmilla is one of the main characters in Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, and her disposition, as well as her usage of Masks, is based upon Sheridan Le Fanu's original novel "Carmilla", a fun little vampire Novella that pre-dates Bram Stoker's Dracula (yes, she's an older-created character).

In Rondo, she commands her servant, Laura, shown in the previous picture. Laura is a woman who Carmilla seduces in Le Fanu's novella.

I encourage people to read "Carmilla", for it is a very nice read.
